OHSA Supervisor Health & Safety Awareness

Supervisors play a front-line role in preventing workplace injuries, illness, and death. In care environments — including private homes, community settings, and residential facilities — supervisors must navigate complex, often unpredictable environments to keep workers safe. This course translates the legal language of the OHSA into practical, day-to-day supervisory actions.

This course introduces supervisors to their mandatory health and safety responsibilities under Ontario law. Learners will develop strategies for hazard identification, worker support, incident response, and creating a culture where safety is everyone’s shared responsibility.
