Tuberculosis (TB) Awareness

Tuberculosis (TB) remains one of the world’s most serious infectious diseases—but with awareness and prevention, it can be controlled.

In this 60-minute course, caregivers will explore how TB spreads, who is at risk, and how to recognize signs and symptoms early. The training covers basic infection control measures, proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and employer-specific policies for handling suspected or active TB cases.

Caregivers will also learn how to respond safely, communicate respectfully, and document accurately if a client exhibits symptoms.
