Vulnerable Adult Training

This course explores the different forms of elder abuse—physical, emotional, sexual, financial, and neglect—while teaching you how to recognize warning signs, protect clients’ rights, and report concerns safely. Through real-world examples, reflection prompts, and scenario-based learning, caregivers will build the confidence to act ethically and respond appropriately when faced with potential abuse or neglect.

Learners will also explore financial exploitation, common scams targeting vulnerable adults (including those living with mental health conditions or cognitive changes), and safe reporting methods to uphold trust, safety, and compliance in caregiving environments.
